India to host a three-match ODI series against Pakistan in December. Confirmation is subject to the Indian government's approval. The ODI series is likely to be held during the Christmas period. It will be the first bilateral series between the two sides since 2007.

Muttiah Muralitharan signs Melbourne Renegades

Former Sri Lanka spin maestro Muttiah Muralitharan has signed Melbourne Renegades for the next season of Australian Twenty20 KFC Big Bash League. The 40-year-old who retired from international cricket after the World Cup final 2011. Muralitharan said, " I wanted to play one season in Australia and the opportunity from the Melbourne Renegades was there so I took it with both hands. " " I think Shane is a great bowler and I've always admired him. I'll try to do well and he'll try to do well for his team. " Muralitharan ended his Test career with a record 800 wickets.

Brett Lee Retires From Internationals

Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has announced his retirement from international cricket on Friday. Lee said via Twitter, " It's official, I have retired from international cricket. Thanks for all your love and support. It's been an amazing 13 years. " Lee, 35, said it was the right time to end to his 13 years long career. Lee had alreadt retired from Tests in February 2010.  In his career Lee took 310 wickets in Tests and 380 in one-day internationals. He will continue to play in the KFC Big Bash League and the Indian Premier League .

Lance Klusener appointed as Dolphins coach

Former South Africa allrounder Lance Klusener has been appointed as the coach of the Dolphins franchise on a two-year contract. Klusener said, " Being a former Dolphin, I am very proud of my team and want to be part of the process of rebuilding the team to its rightful place as South Africa's No. 1 franchise. "

Harbhajan signs Essex County side

Harbhajan Singh , 31, has signed a contract with Essex County side to play in the English domestic season in second half. Harbhajan will reach United Kingdom in the mid of july and will play the remaining eight LV County Championship matches. Essex head coach Paul Grayson, said, " We are delighted to have signed one of the best spinners in world cricket over the last 10 years or so. Harbhajan is a great character who is a match winner and I believe that his winning mentality will rub off on the rest of the playing squad here at Essex.
