Australian allrounder Andrew Symonds passed away in a horrific car accident near the outskirts of the city of Townsville on Saturday night, the North Queensland Police confirmed. The 46-year-old represented Australia in 26 Tests and 198 ODIs from 1998 to 2009. Symonds is the second famous Aussie cricketer to pass away in 2022 following the demise of leg-spinner Shane Warne, who died earlier this year in March.
