New Zealand Test Squad against Zimbabwe

New Zealand great batsman Jesse Ryder will miss Test match against Zimbabwe start from November 1. He is out due to his injury in the warm-up match in Bulawayo against Zimbabwe-A and hence confirmed the strain. Indian test team announced against West Indies

Kolkata, Friday, October 28, 2011 National selectors has been finally excluded off-spinner Harbhajan Singh from Indian test team, Whereas, Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh has been included in the test team squad. Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, pragyan Ojha and young leg spinner Rahul Sharma has included in the team. However, leg spinner Amit Mishra has been discharged from the test team squad. Virender sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh have been out of his injuries and are included in the team. Selectors gave a new look to fast bowling Department Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron has been in for the test squad in place of Praveen Kumar and S. sreesanth Great performances against the England Ajinkya Rahane reserve a place in the team for opener. Dhoni ranked third in the ICC ODI Rankings

After India's 5-0 win over England, man of the series captain MS Dhoni is now ranked in third position in ICC ODI rankings . Off-spinner R Ashwin took ten wickets in the series and ranked in first top 20 bowlers in ICC Ranking. Ravinder jadeja ranked 12th position in All-rounder list. 100 Sri Lankan cricketers not paid yet

Colombo, Thursday, October 27, 2011 Nearly 100 Sri Lankan cricketers have not been paid since the World Cup 2011 in April due to the huge debt that the Sri Lanka Cricket Board is facing. There are reports that the Sri Lanka Cricket Board may not be in a position to pay the players over the next couple of months. Sri Lanka cricket Chief Upali Dharmadasa said in a media report, " There is a truth in those media reports to a certain extent Sri Lanka Cricket is still awaiting payment from the ICC for co-hosting the World Cup 2011. The ICC still owes us $4-5 million ."

England is number 1 in Twenty-20 Rankings

International Cricket Council ( ICC ) Twenty-20 world champion England is in the number one team in T20 ranking, while England's batsman Eoin Morgan is the number 1 in batting rating, Sri Lankan spinner Ajantha Mendis is the top bowler and Shane Watson of Australia is the top all-rounder. England has 127 points and Sri Lanka with 126 points. If England win the Twenty-20 match against India on October 29 at Eden gardens then England would get four points, if England lose the match then they will slipped down from Sri Lanka. New Zealand (117) Thirdly, South Africa (113) the fourth, India (112) fifth and Australia (111) is in the sixth place. Pakistan (97) in seventh followed by West Indies, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe.

Jacques Rudolph's return to the African test team

Johannesburg, October 23, 2011 Opener Jacques Rudolph has return to the South Africa test team after five-year long. South Africa to play two test series against Australia in next month. Rudolph has played last match in August 2006. The chairman of South Africa's selection committee, Andrew Hudson has said in a statement that the Rudolph will start the innings with the captain Graeme Smith . His experience and form would be useful to the team. Tim Bresnan fined for his behavior

England fast bowler Tim Bresnan has been fined 7.5% match fees of the third ODI against India on Thursday due to the complications with umpire during the match. This event took place in 18th over during Indian innings after completing his fifth over, bresnan snatched his cap from  the hands of the umpire Sudhir asnani .

Sachin Tendulkar has paid a fine of Rs 4.35 lakh

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has paid a fine of Rs 4.35 lakhs to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to achieve the occupation certificate for his five-storey bungalow at Bandra (West). Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official said on Thursday that “ We have received all the required no-objection certificates from Tendulkar, who also paid the fine. So, the OC has issued to his new bungalow ."

BCCI has announced that West Indies will start tour to india with three test and five ODI series. 1st test will begin from November 6 in delhi. West Indies will head to India on November 2 after completing their tour of Bangladesh. Shahid Afridi U Turn from his decision of retirement

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi announced his retirement from cricket since five months ago and now he said that he was ready to return in the Pakistan team. Afridi told reporters in Karachi, "I decided that I would like to play for Pakistan, I have never been ever retired from Cricket, but I said I don't want to play in the previous administration of PCB and now there is a new Chairman, so I decided to play again." Afridi announced his retirement to cricket in may, when ODI team captaincy was taken away from him at the time of Coach Waqar Younis .

Sydney, Monday, October 17, 2011 Young fast bowler Patrick Cummins has been selected in the Australian test squad against South Africa. 18 year-old Patrick has played only three first class matches from New South Wales side in which he achieved nine wickets. Selection Committee Chairman Andrew Hilditch said, at the age of just 18 Patrick has demonstrated his ability in international level. Australia to play two tests in South Africa that will begin first test in Cape Town on November 9 and the second test will be played from November 17 in Johannesburg. Melbourne, Friday, October 14, 2011 Australia's test and ODI Captain Michael Clarke says he is "very confident" none of his fellow players have been involved in spot-fixing matches . Clarke said, he was surprised by the claims against Australian cricketers. A Bookie named Mazhar Majeed claimed against the Australians during the hearing of the ICC spot fixing in London court. But dismissed by an ICC investigator and given clean chit to Australian cricketers.

ICC Introduce New Cricket Rules implemented from Oct 1

These rules will implement into action from the England tour of India starting on October 14 five-match ODI series. The New Set of Rules are: *2 Balls Use in an innings – for only ODI’s *Field Obstruction – applicable in all 3 formats i.e. Test’s Odi’s and T20 *Powerplay Rule *Option of Runner has been removed *Penalty Time has been introduced *If the bowler fails to run out the Non-striker then Dead ball shall be given. *Extra Time in Tests shall be given before Lunch or Tea depending upon the position of the match only if requested by the captain *If batting team is 9 wickets down, then interval can be delayed for a max of 30 minutes. *The minimum interval for an uninterrupted ODI (one day international) match has been increased from 20 mins to 30 mins.

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia. Bracken took his retirement in January and could not play the entire 2010 season last year due to injury. According to the report of Daily Telegraph Bracken is seeking about $1 million from CA. Banker Zaka Ashraf is the new PCB chief

Lahore, Wednesday, October 12, 2011 Asif Zardari, The President of Pakistan has appointed Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf as the new chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in place of former Test cricketer Ijaz Butt Statement issued on behalf of the President's Office said that the Zaka Ashraf has been appointed Board's new Chairman. He will replace Ijaz Butt, whose three-year tenure has been ended on October 8.

Brett Lee out of South Africa Tour

Sydney, Tuesday, October 11, 2011 Australian great fast bowler Brett Lee has been ruled out of the ODI and Twenty-20 series against South Africa due to diagnosed with appendicitis. Cricket Australia said in a statement due to have an operation in Cape Town, Brett Lee will away from cricket for six to eight weeks. Alex Kountouris, Team physio said in a statement, " Brett Lee complained of some abdominal pain after arriving in Cape Town on Sunday. He will obviously be ruled out of the Twenty20 and ODI series in South Africa and is likely to return to cricket in six to eight weeks. " Australia will start their tour against South Africa with Twenty-20 match in Cape Town on Thursday.

Chennai, Monday, October 10, 2011 Mumbai Indians fast bowler Lasith Malinga , awarded The Golden Ball of the Champions League Twenty-20 Cricket Tournament with the most wicket taker in the entire series, Malinga also awarded with the title of Man of The Tournament . Malinga took 10 wickets in 6 matches in the tournament. Though, Caribbean team Trinidad Tobago fast bowler Ravi Rampaul took 12 wickets and his own team-mate Sunil Narayan took 10 wickets but these total wickets are including the qualifier matches. South Africa Squad against Australia Series

Johannesburg, Tuesday, October 4, 2011 Hashim Amla has been selected as the captain of the South African team in ODI and T20 series against Australia. Amla got the team command due to the fractured finger injury of Captain AB de Villiers , that is not available for the entire series. Amla has been assigned captain for two Twenty20 and three ODI matches against Australia. 38-year-old Amla has so far played only three Twenty-20 internationals. Wicketkeeper batsman Mark Boucher returns to the one-day squad, while 23-year-old batsman Richard levy is the only new face in the T20 squad. London, Sunday, October 2nd, 2011 Australian former cricketer Shane Warne and British actress Elizabeth Hurley during a trip to Scotland confirmed their engagement. IPL has not paid yet

New Delhi, October 1st, 2011 The Federation of International Cricketers' Associations ( FICA ) claimed that Australian batsman Simon katich and caribbean batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan including most numerous foreign players have not yet received their payments from Indian Premier League (IPL) for the third season. (FICA) chief executive Tim May said " A number of players whose contracts were 'subsidised' by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have recently contacted FICA to assist in recovering the amounts. " Katich and Sarwan both did not played in 2010 IPL. Although both the players had a three year agreement with King's XI Punjab that are valid from 2008. BCCI has not responded so far on the accusations of FICA.

Ab D'Villiers out of Australia series

Johannesburg,, Friday, September 30th, 2011 South Africa ODI and T-20 Captain Ab D'Villiers got injured during Champions League in India and has been ruled out from the australia series in coming next month. Cricket South Africa reported today that the doctors advised 27-year-old Ab D'Villiers that four to six week relaxation, for this reason he will not available for the upcoming series against australia. He will undergo immediate surgery and rehabilitation. Twenty-20 and ODI series against Australia will be begin from October 13.
