Yorkshire re-sign NZ international Kane Williamson

New Zealand international Kane Williamson, 23, has signed Yorkshire for the 2014 season. previously Kane who joined Yorkshire in august  for the last five games of the County Championship . The director of Yorkshire's cricket, Martyn Moxon said, " It is great news to have Kane on board for next season, He has settled in well and is a popular member of the dressing room. We have seen him excel in four-day cricket in the short time he has been with us and I have no doubt that he will be a tremendous asset in all forms of the game next season. " "For a young man, he has already gained a massive amount of experience playing at the highest level against the best teams in the world. He should be available for the majority of next season and play his part in our efforts to be successful and competitive in all forms of the game."

Stephen Harmison signs Yorkshire

Former England paceman Stephen Harmison has signed Yorkshire . The 33-year-old has played 63 Tests and 58 one-day internationals in his career. He said: " It's been a frustrating first half of the season and I don't want to be playing second team cricket." "I'm pleased that I can be helpful to Yorkshire at this point, when they are struggling with their senior bowlers, and I'm looking forward to our first game on Wednesday. " The head coach of Yorkshire, Martyn Moxon said: " We're pleased that Durham CCC and Stephen have agreed to the loan, providing us with cover for the likely absences caused by Ryan Sidebottom's calf injury and unavailability of Mitchell Starc. "

David Miller signs Yorkshire for t20

The South African batsman, David Miller has signed Yorkshire as their second overseas player for the Friends Life t20. Miller played last season's competition for Durham. Miller has also played in IPL season 5 and for South Africa T20s and ODIs. Martyn Moxon, The director of Yorkshire's cricket said, " David is available for the whole tournament which made him an attractive proposition. You look at his strike-rate, he averages 120-plus per 100 balls, and in the Indian Premier League he's been scoring at 150-plus.He's that explosive type of player we've been looking for. I'm excited by the squad we've assembled for this campaign. "
