Bangladesh will tour West Indies for two Tests, three T20Is, and as many ODIs in June-July.  Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have announced the squads for the multi-format tour of the Caribbean island starting June 16. The 26-year-old seamer Mustafizur Rahman is all set to make his return to test cricket as he was included in the squad. England captain Eoin Morgan will be sidelined for the fourth and fifth match of the T20 series after suffering a minor right thigh-muscle injury. The Irishman has suffered a minor right thigh-muscle injury which will keep him out for the remaining matches of the T20 international series against the West Indies. The 35-year-old was forced to miss the 20-run defeat to the hosts on Wednesday after having pain in the pre-match warm-up. The allrounder Moeen Ali will lead the side in Morgan's absence and is likely to retain the role for the rest of the series this weekend.

Warwickshire have announced the signing of West Indies fast bowler Chemar Holder for the rest of the County Championship season. The 23-year-old is likely to make his debut at Lancashire on 30 August. The Barbados pacer became the third West Indies international the Bears have signed this summer after Carlos Brathwaite and Kyle Mayers. Sri Lanka have announced a 20-member squad for the three one-day internationals and the three T20 matches against the West Indies. The 24-year-old seamer Lahiru Kumara, who tested positive on Monday was being replaced by Suranga Lakmal for six limited over matches. The Twenty20s series is slated to begin on March 3, 5 and 7. While the ODIs will be played on March 10, 12 and 14. Bangladesh Cricket Board have announced the 24-man preliminary squad for the forthcoming ODI series against West Indies. Former skipper Mashrafe Mortaza, who made his ODI debut back in 2001, has been dropped from the ODI squad. The West Indies cricket team have departed for the three-match Test tour of England starting from July 8. The tourists will be tested for COVID-19 again upon arrival in the UK ahead of the seven-week tour. The Left-handed batsman John Campbell has been called up to the West Indies ODI squad for next week’s first two matches against England. Carlos Brathwaite and Sheldon Cottrell have both also been included to the 14-man squad. It is going to be Campbell’s first call-up for limited over cricket. The 25-year-old Jamaican born batsman made his test debut in the recent series against England, in which the Caribbean won 2-1. Campbell has scored 176 runs at an average of 35.2. Brathwaite has played 28 ODIs and 35 Twenty20 internationals for West Indies. Cottrell, a left-arm seamer, has made six ODIs appearances and 10 Twenty20 internationals. The first two ODIs of the four-match series will be held at Kensington Oval in Barbados on Wednesday and Friday.

The West Indies selection panel have announced the 15-member squad against the host India in the two-Test series starting October 4. "The panel welcomes back Sunil Ambris who missed the last couple of series due to injury, along with Jomel Warrican who adds a second spin bowling option to the attack," said chairman of selectors, Courtney Browne. Windies will be travelling to India for almost seven weeks starting September 26 with two Tests, five ODIs and three T20 Internationals. Afghanistan’ to play first bilateral series against West Indies in the first week of June. The series will include three ODIs and three T20Is, that will be played concurrently with the Champions Trophy, starting on June 1 in England.  "It will also be an important series for our side," Roland Holder, WICB Manager of Cricket Operations, said , "as they look to move up in the ICC World Rankings in the two formats, and continue their quest to qualify for the 2019 ICC World Cup in England and Wales.” All three T20s international will be held at Warner Park in St Kitts, from June 2. Whereas, all the ODIs, will be played at St Lucia, starting on June 9.

West Indies batsman Jason Mohammed has been called up to the Twenty20 International squad for the first time for two of the four matches against Pakistan from March 26 in Barbados. West Indies allrounder Dwayne Smith confirmed his retirement from international cricket on Wednesday. The 33-year-old, who is currently playing for Islamabad United in the ongoing Pakistan Super League, has announced the decision before the qualifying final game between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings at Sharjah. Smith was part of two World Cup squads in 2007 and 2015, where his last appearance for the national team came against UAE in Napier at the 2015 World Cup. He made his international debut during the tour of South Africa 2003-04, in Cape Town in January 2004. The Caribbean batsman scored 1560 runs at a strike rate of 92.69 in 105 ODIs. He also claimed 61 wickets in ODIs. Smith has been a well known cricketer on the T20 format, over the last couple of years, turning out to play in the Indian Premier League, the Caribbean Premier League, the Bangladesh Premier League and now the Pakistan Super League, as well as the NatWest Blast in England.

The West Indies Cricket board and Pakistan Cricket Board both have agreed to play one of the two scheduled Tests under the flood lights (Day and Night Test). The two-match test series will be held in the mid of September this year at United Arab Of Emirates, Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Shaharyar Khan confirmed. It would be the first day and night Test for both nations Pakistan and West Indies. Besides the Tests series, The current T20 champions are set to play five One Day Internationals and two T20I in October.

The wicketkeeper-batsman Johnson Charles has been included to the West Indies squad for the ICC World Twenty20, that will be played in India from March 8. The 27-year-old was picked by the selectors to replace Darren Bravo, who withdrew to focus on Test cricket.  Charles has played 23 T20 Internationals and was member of the West Indies cricket team which won the ICC World T20 in Sri Lanka in 2012.
