India's middle order batsman Suresh Raina and Virat Kohli won the Ceat International Youngster of the Year 2011 and T20 Player of the Year awards on Saturday. Left handed opener batsman Gautam Gambhir won the Match-Winning Innings of the Year for his brilliant 97 runs against Sri Lanka on April 2, in the World Cup final at Wankhede Stadium . England batsman Jonathan Trott won two awards, international cricketer of the year and batsman of the year award. James Anderson won International Bowler of the Year award. Indian explosive batsman Virender sehwag and VVS Laxman both were honored with special award for their huge contribution to Indian cricket and for completing 10 years in international cricket. West Indies former fast bowler Courtney Walsh won the Lifetime Achievement Award for the 2010-11 season. All nine players receive the awards worth Rs 5lakh each and a trophy.

Virender sehwag , after recovering from Shoulder injury returned to the Indian team said that Harbhajan Singh will soon return to the test team against the West Indies and he expected to perform well in the home series against West Indies. He said when I was out, I played domestic cricket and made a comeback in the national team. I'm 100-percent sure that Harbhajan will perform well in domestic cricket. Asked about his fitness sehwag said at the moment I am fit.

India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh will not play third Test due to injury. Batsman Virat Kohli and left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha has been called in the third Test match. In the absence of Harbhajan, leg-spinner Amit Mishra or Pragyan Ojha might get a chance in the third Test. Indian team management has reported today that it takes 10 to 12 days to recover from Harbhajan's injury. Harbhajan has been battling from poor form at this time. Explosive opener and Delhi Daredevils captain Virender Sehwag now not able to play match in IPL4 due to shoulder injury. His shoulder was hurt in the recent past for which now he has to undergo with surgery. Daredevils, owned a company director of GMR PB Vanchi said, " if Sehwag play match,its no longer have to wonder. In the last match he had struggled enough. " He said Indian cricket board (BCCI) is managing Sehwag's surgery. It is going to set the date. If surgery is necessary then Daredevils will not on the way of the Virender Sehwag .

The explosive century against Deccan Chargers, Delhi Daredevils captain Virender Sehwag said that this is one of his best innings in Twenty20 cricket. Sehwag's explosive innings of 119 runs in just 56 balls against the Chargers makes him  Man of the Match. He also hit 13 boundaries and five sixes in the innings. Sehwag said " I did not made century ever in Twenty20.The first six overs were not in our favor. Our three wickets fell at 29 runs in just 6 overs. Since they did not have a fifth bowler, I thought that if I do attack their fourth and fifth bowlers so we could achieve this goal.
