England squad against South Africa


England All-rounder Ravi Bopara has been selected in the 13-man squad for the 1st Test against South Africa starting on Thursday at The Oval.


Bopara will replace Jonny Bairstow.

Geoff Miller, The National selector said, "He has worked hard to regain his place in the test squad following some injury concerns earlier in the season and is the only player included who is yet to play a test match this summer."

The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
