The right-handed batsman Rajat Patidar has joined Royal Challengers Bangalore for a price of INR 20 lakh. The 28-year-old, who had previously represented RCB four times, will replace the injured Luvnith Sisodia for the remainder of the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL).  Patidar has so far played 31 T20s and has scored 861 runs with the help of 7 half-centuries. Australian seamer Kane Richardson has given up his $816,000 IPL payday to be with his family for the birth of his first child. On Thursday evening in the IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB skipper Virat Kohli and KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir 's were involved in an ugly on-field spat.
