Misbah-ul Haq dropped from Pakistan Twenty20 squad captaincy on Thursday and all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez will be the new skipper of Pakistan Twenty20 squad. PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf said: "Misbah has been a great leader and he will remain captain for the one-days and Tests, but after consulting Misbah, we have decided to appoint Hafeez as new captain for the Twenty20."

Pakistan all-rounders Shahid Afridi and Hammad Azam has been included in one-day and Twenty20 squads for series against England in United Arab Emirates. Misbah-ul Haq will lead the Pakistan team in both the formats. Abdul Razzaq has been dropped for the series for poor performance. ODI squad : Misbah-ul-Haq (captain), Mohammad Hafeez, Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan, Asad Shafiq, Imran Farhat, Junaid Khan, Adnan Akmal, Umar Akmal, Saeed Ajmal, Umar Gul, Abdul Rehman, Azhar Ali, Aizaz Cheema, Wahab Riaz and Hammad Azam.
