Cricket South Africa has appointed Haroon Lorgat as its new CEO. Gerald Majola, the previous CEO was sacked in last year due to the IPL bonus-payments controversy. " Mr. Lorgat's appointment follows a thorough and rigorous process to fill this important position, " CSA President Chris Nenzani said in a statement. "The quality of the candidates was exceptional and I would like to express my appreciation to the sub-committee of the Board as well as my colleagues on the Board who have brought this matter to a highly satisfactory conclusion."

David Richardson , the former South Africa wicketkeeper, has been chosen chief executive of International Cricket Council. Richardson will replace fellow South African Haroon Lorgat . Richardson said, " It is a great honour to be nominated to be chief executive of the ICC, I am delighted with this opportunity and thank the ICC Board for their approval. "
