PCB hopeful to host PSL 5 in Pakistan

Pakistan Cricket Board are hopeful of hosting The Pakistan Super League (PSL), their domestic T20 tournament to Pakistan this year. International teams refused to tour Pakistan after Sri Lanka was targeted by terrorists in 2011. However, West Indies and Zimbabwe went for short series in the United Arab Emirates as Pakistan's home ground. On Friday, PCB have made an announcement that they wanted to host all games of their domestic T20 tournament in the country. PCB chairperson Ehsan Mani expressed hope that teams like Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will tour Pakistan this year as the inauguration of the ICC Test Championship. According to Geo.TV , Heads of Cricket Australia and England and Wales Cricket Board will be traveling Pakistan this year. Pakistan to host the Asia Cup 2020 although it could be held in the UAE, since India would not want to visit to Pakistan.

New Zealand beat Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in their opener World Cup tournament at Cardiff on Saturday. Black Caps opening batsmen Martin Guptill and Colin Munro chased down the target in just 16.1 overs and witnessed a ruthless 10 wicket win on the day. Both players managed to score half centuries.
