The Indian cricketers - Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Gautam Gambhir will have to prove the selectors that they are still capable of playing in the 2015 World Cup. Probably it will be their last chance to prove themselves when Delhi takes on Mumbai in the pre-quarterfinals of Vijay Hazare trophy at Rajkot in-order to get selected for the World Cup, which begins on February 14 in Australia and New Zealand. It is understood If both Sehwag and Gambhir manage to score a decent runs on scoreboard, the possibilities for their return to national team. In Yuvraj’s case - Punjab will have to face Gujarat in Rajkot. Despite had a poor performance in the North Zone qualifiers - all eyes will be on the 32-year-old allrounder and the spinner Harbhajan Singh, who will look to improve on their game in order to earn a ticket to the World Cup. County club, Essex have signed Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir for the remainder of the season of County Championship . The 31-year-old opener batsman will replace the New Zealand opener Hamish Rutherford, who will be heading home to prepare for New Zealand's domestic and international season. Gambhir is expected to play match against Northamptonshire in Colchester, on August 20. "We are delighted with the signing of Gautam Gambhir, " Essex head coach Paul Grayson said. On Thursday evening in the IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB skipper Virat Kohli and KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir 's were involved in an ugly on-field spat. It all started during RCB's 10th over, when Kohli was dismissed by Lakshmipathy Balaji and as Kohli turned towards the pavilion , Gambhir said something which made Kohli furious. Suddenly Kohli charged back towards Gambhir and the Gambhir too angrily walked towards Kohli. At the end of the match, RCB won by eight wickets, both Kohli and Gambhir shake hands. During the post-match presentation, Kohli said, " It's done, what is done on the field is done (spat) " Gambhir said, " It happens in the heat of the moment. We don't need to carry it off the field. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Gautam Gambhir has been fined in IPL Tournament for slow over rate during the match against Delhi Daredevils in Delhi. Gambhir said, " I think aggressive cricket is very important. More so, we have such aggressive batsmen.
