Tendulkar to play 200th Test in India?

Recently few days back, BCCI meeting held at Kolkata for the upcoming cricket schedule for team India . BCCI have announced one home series against West Indies before the South Africa tour. By this decision, this is likely to be seen as sachin’s last series before his retirement. There are too many questions arises in our mind that what decision have been made by the BCCI? West Indies series announcement just before the South Africa tour, will it be a Last series for Sachin Tendulkar ? Will sachin say goodbye to cricket after the West Indies series? Sreesanth gets life ban

India's fast bowler Sreesanth has been handed a life ban by the BCCI for spotfixing during IPL 2013 . Sreesanth tweeted just after the news of his ban, "surprising". "Been tracking the news channels... Me getting a life ban??!! Very surprising," he said.

India ODI Tour to Zimbabwe July 24

BCCI has announced, India will tour Zimbabwe starting July 24, for a series of five one-dayers internationals. The first three ODI's will be held in Harare and the last two in Bulawayo. Indian squad against NZ for Test series to be announced on Aug 10

The BCCI's selection committee will pick the squad on August 10 for the Test series against New Zealand at home starting August 23. " The All-India Senior Selection Committee will meet at 11:30 am on Friday, 10 August 2012, at the Cricket Centre, Mumbai, to pick the Indian team for the Test series against New Zealand in August-September 2012, and the subsequent India 'A' tour of New Zealand, " said a BCCI media release on Saturday. India in Sri Lanka for ODI's and T20

India will play five One-day internationals and two Twenty20 matches in Sri Lanka from the mid of July. Due to hectic schedule, the BCCI couldn't accommodate the Test series. Sri Lanka Premier League Without Indians

The BCCI has once again rejected Sri Lanka Cricket's (SLC) appeal to let Indian play in the Sri Lanka Premier League (SLPL). A BCCI official said, " They (SLC) did approach us, but we may not be in a position to send our players. " In August, India will host a two-Test series against New Zealand.

Andrew McDonald will play for Royal Challengers Bangalore

Australian all-rounder Andrew McDonald will now play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the upcoming season of IPL. During the IPL trading window Andrew has moved from Delhi Daredevils to RCB. The BCCI said in a statement, Australia's ALLROUNDER Andrew McDonald now went into the Royal Challengers Bangalore. McDonald is the member of the Melbourne Renegades in Big Bash League .

76 matches will be played in IPL 5, auctions in Jan

Indian Premier League for the fifth tournament, auctions will be start at the end of January or at the beginning of February. For each IPL franchises get cap of $2 million to spend on players. The players of the Kochi Tuskers Kerala franchise will be part of the auction, which was terminated by BCCI earlier in this year. The IPL Governing council increased the number of players from 30 to 33 in each team. In IPL-5, foreign players will be 11 instead of 10 for each team. However, two more Indian players can be included to each team's roster. The IPL-5 season will start on April 4 in Chennai and the final will also be played in Chennai on May 27, 2012. There will be an additional four play-off matches, in Bangalore and Chennai.

More Pakistani Cricketers in Sri Lankan Premier League

UDRS will be Mandatory In India-England series

Hong Kong City, Monday, 27 June 2011 International Cricket Council ( ICC ), Today has made the umpire decision review system ( UDRS ) mandatory in all Tests and ODIs between India - England series in the Next Month. Indian cricket board ( BCCI ) has been strongly opposed to the use of UDRS, but now after the agreement UDRS will be mandatory in the upcoming series between India and England

Indian players will not play in SPL

Mumbai, Sunday 19 June 2011 Sri Lanka Premier League postponed BCCI Board banned Indian players to participate in the SPL tournament, because it is being organized by Singapore private company rather than a Sri Lanka Cricket Board . BCCI President Shashank Manohar said we decided that any Indian cricketer to take part in the League will not be allowed because a tournament is organised by a private company in Singapore .

No use of UDRS in India vs England Series - BCCI ?

London, Friday, 10 June 2011 UDRS Will Be Mandatory In India Vs England Series BCCI once again not in the favor of the use of UDRS in the upcoming four-Test series between England and India. According to ' Daily Telegraph ', Indian Cricket Board has informed England and Wales Cricket Board that not use of UDRS in Series.The system must allow for the use of both boards. Sachin Tendulkar and Mahendra Singh Dhoni top Indian players opposed UDRS openly, whereas the England players has support it. Former England off-spinner John Emburey said the reason India does not want the UDRS is that it will favour our bowlers.He said "The DRS helps the spinners".The system is to know whether the ball seems to stump and becomes umpire's decision easier. The first Test match of this Test series will be played on July 21st at Lords.
