West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has announced his retirement from Test cricket, who played his last test match against Sri Lanka in December 2010. Bravo has played 40 Tests for his country, scoring 2200 runs at an average of 31 and picking up 86 wickets since making his debut against England in 2004.

West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has made a comeback as a skipper in the One Day International series against Bangladesh, later this month. West Indies skipper Dwayne Bravo has signed Melbourne Renegades for the KFC T20 Big Bash League .  The 30-year-old Bravo is likely to play match against the Sydney Sixers on Jan 18, and against the Adelaide Strikers on January 22. Melbourne Renegades Coach Simon Helmot said, "Dwayne is one of the best T20 all-rounders in the world. He can bat at the top and bowls anywhere." "He's experienced and we look forward to welcoming him to the club." 

Dwayne Bravo has been announced as the new West Indies ODI captain for the Champions Trophy by replacing Darren Sammy, who retains his place in the side. Chairman of the selection panel, Clyde Butts, said: " Our results in Tests and T20s have been showing consistent improvement, and Sammy deserves every kudos for the work he has done in leading and moulding the team in these formats, We remain confident in his leadership in these formats, and will recommend that he continues as the captain for Test and T20 cricket." West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo is ready to play for Sydney Sixers in the upcoming KFC T20 Big Bash competition, Recently Bravo was sidelined with an ankle injury. Last year Bravo played for Victoria in the Big Bash League. Bravo will leave on Dec 10 for Australia to play Big Bash Twenty-20 League and returning Jan 7 to take part in the 2012 Caribbean Twenty20 championship. Bravo said: "I will be flying out to Australia for the Big Bash but this time around I will also be available for Trinidad & Tobago in the regional series, as we look to defend our title."
