The 2021 Indian Premier League starts in April, whilst a number of international matches take place in what is going to be an exciting month of cricket action. Nottinghamshire sign Dane Paterson for 2021 season

Nottinghamshire have announced the signing of South Africa's Dane Paterson for the 2021 season. The 31-year-old seamer, who will be a part of Notts as an overseas player, has featured in four ODIs and eight T20Is for the Proteas. The right-armer has claimed 355 wickets across 103 First-Class fixtures since his debut in 2009. Nottinghamshire had earlier announced that Australia's Dan Christian will lead the T20 side this summer.

Hampshire: Ian Holland signs new contract until 2022

Hampshire allrounder Ian Holland has signed a new contract that will keep him at The Ageas Bowl until at least the end of next season. The USA international moved to The Ageas Bowl in 2017 from Victoria and has since gone on to score 1,146 runs and claim 63 wickets across all three formats. Jasprit Bumrah to tie the knot with Sanjana Ganesan in Goa

India pacer Jasprit Bumrah is reportedly set to tie the knot with former model and sports anchor Sanjana Ganesan in Goa this weekend. The 27-year-old has taken a leave from the upcoming T20I series against England. The model-turned anchor, Sanjana has been a regular feature in the Star Sports presenters’ panel. She has hosted many shows including the Indian Premier League (IPL). Sanjana is a Miss India 2014 finalist and also participated in the MTV Splitsvilla 7.

South Africa name new captains for ODI, T20I and Test teams

Cricket South Africa have announced new captains for the team in all three formats and ODI, T20I and Test. Dean Elgar has been awarded Test captaincy. Temba Bavuma to lead the Proteas in the limited-overs formats. “We are grateful to Quinton for the work he has put in as captain of the team in the limited-overs formats and are indebted to him for stepping up while the National Selection Panel continued its search for the Test captain. We expect him to still play an integral role in the team’s leadership group,” said CSA’s Director of Cricket, Graeme Smith. Jake Ball signs new deal with Nottinghamshire until 2023

Nottinghamshire seamer Jake Ball has signed a new two-year contract with the county, that promises to keep him at Trent Bridge until the end of the 2023 season. The 29-year-old Englishman, who has played four Tests, 18 ODIs and two Twenty20s for England, has spent his entire county career with Notts. He also played seven matches for Sydney Sixers in the recent Big Bash League in Australia. Ball has claimed 364 wickets in all formats for the Green and Golds since his first-team debut in 2009. 🏡 Home is where the heart is.
