Northamptonshire Cricket County Club have announced the signing of Afghanistan allrounder Mohammad Nabi for the 2021 edition of the T20 Blast. The 35-year-old has impressive numbers under his belt in the shortest format of the game.  The middle-order Afghan has featured in 78 T20 Internationals for his nation, scoring 1347 runs at an average of over 22 and strike rate of 145.3. In addition to that, the allrounder also has 69 scalps to his name. Northants will be Nabi's third county, after previous spells at Leicestershire and Kent in 2018 and 2019 respectively. The Afghan international Mohammad Nabi will return to Melbourne Renegades on a one-year contract extension for the upcoming season of the KFC Big Bash League. Nabi, who is the No.1-ranked T20I allrounder will join the Renegades after his ongoing stint with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. “I have always enjoyed my time with the Renegades and testing myself against some of the best T20 players in the world in the Big Bash. I’m very pleased to have re-signed for a fourth season,” the 35-year-old said . Nabi has played 27 matches for the Renegades, averaging 30 with 21 wickets with the ball.
