Pattinson and Siddle sign for Melbourne Renegades

Australian Fast bowlers James Pattinson and Peter Siddle have signed Melbourne Renegades for the forthcoming season of the T20 Big Bash League . Muralitharan signs for Caribbean Premier League

Former Sri Lankan spin bowler Muttiah Muralitharan has been confirmed as the sixth international franchise player for Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The 41-year-old, Muralitharan, has a record of taking more international wickets than any other player in history, with 1347 scalps across Test, ODI and Twenty20 International formats. " I am really looking forward to playing in the first ever CPL -- it is going to be a fantastic spectacle for fans and a great experience for all players involved, " Muralitharan said. " I am good friends with a number of the West Indian players, especially Chris Gayle as we play together in IPL, and having the chance to play on a team with guys competing in their home countries will be fantastic for me. Muttiah Muralitharan signs Melbourne Renegades

Former Sri Lanka spin maestro Muttiah Muralitharan has signed Melbourne Renegades for the next season of Australian Twenty20 KFC Big Bash League. The 40-year-old who retired from international cricket after the World Cup final 2011. Muralitharan said, " I wanted to play one season in Australia and the opportunity from the Melbourne Renegades was there so I took it with both hands. Muttiah Muralitharan wants to play two more years in IPL
