Stuart Broad reaches 500 Test wickets milestone

England's Stuart Broad became the seventh bowler to take 500 wickets in Test cricket. The 34-year-old paceman reaches the milestone when he dismissed Kraigg Brathwaite on the final day of the third Test against West Indies at Old Trafford. Broad made his Test debut in 2007, now has joined one of cricket's most exclusive clubs of 500 Test wickets. He made the history in his 140th Test match.  He is the second Englishman to reach the milestone, after James Anderson. Broad has also been a useful tailender batsman and has scored over 3,000 Test runs, including a century and 13 half-centuries.

Stuart Broad ruled out of ODI series against Sri Lanka

England 's T20 captain Stuart Broad has been ruled out of the ODI series against Sri Lanka  after struggling with injury. The Nottinghamshire fast bowler has issues with his ongoing knee problem and the 27-year-old reportedly preparing to be fit for the Test series which begins on June 12 at Lord’s. " I’m just having a little bit of time to get my knee 100% right, " said Broad. "Hopefully I'll play the seven back-to-back Test matches and then the one-day series against India." Broad will also miss the match against Scotland in Aberdeen on Friday and five one-day internationals with Twenty20 match against Sri Lanka.

England players urinate on The Oval pitch

Once again, there is a huge controversy in ashes , with the three top England players were allegedly urinated on the Oval pitch after the fifth and final Test ended on Monday.  The allegations originated from Australian journalists who were present at the media box in the stadium as darkness enveloped the ground. According to reports, several England players including Stuart Broad , Kevin Pietersen and Jimmy Anderson took turns to urinate on The Oval pitch to the cheers of their teammates. England start cricketer   Kevin Pietersen , Stuart Broad , Monty Panesar and Jonathan Trott escaped unhurt during a minor incident by travelling in a taxi in Duabi. According to the cricket website: " They were travelling in taxi at the speed of 100kph when suddenly the taxi's bonnet flew up and hit into the windscreen, obscuring the driver's vision. Stuart Broad doubtful against India
