Australian Spin bowler Fawad Ahmed has refused to wear a beer company logo on his shirt because of his Muslim faith. Ahmed was picked for Australia's ODI series in England after he made his debut in the Twenty20 series last week. Cricket Australia's operations manager Mike McKenna says CA was "respectful of Fawad's personal beliefs" and agreed to his request to wear an unbranded shirt

Australia have announced their 18-man squad for the limited-overs series starting from Aug 29. Right-arm leg spinner, Fawad Ahmed has been included to the squad and likely to debut for Australia. Fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has also been included and should play his first ODIs in three years, while Doherty and the allrounder Mitchell Marsh were dropped from the squad. The 18-man Aussie squad to play two Twenty20s against England then the squad be trimmed to 15 for the one-off ODI against Scotland and five against England in September. Australian Fast bowlers James Pattinson and Peter Siddle have signed Melbourne Renegades for the forthcoming season of the T20 Big Bash League .
