Australia's 14-man squad for ODI series against India

Australia have announced their 14-man squad for the three-match ODI series against India starting on January 12 in Sydney. The 34-year-old seamer Peter Siddle has been included in the revamped 14-member squad. He made a comeback to the ODI squad for the first time since 2010, while Nathan Lyon and Usman Khawaja both were also recalled to the team, led by Aaron Finch. Siddle played his last ODI against Sri Lanka in 2010 and his inclusion will allow Aussies to rest the pace trio Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood keeping the Test series against Sri Lanka in mind. The remaining two matches of the three-ODI series will be held in Adelaide (on January 15) and Melbourne (January 18). Peter Siddle signs Nottinghamshire

Nottinghamshire have secured Australian fast bowler Peter Siddle by signing him as their overseas player for the Championship and one-day campaigns on 2014. As per the schedule, there will be not any Australia Test cricket during the entire English season , so the 20-year-old has been linked for a full season although he will not play T20 cricket. "I've always wanted to spend a season in county cricket and this feels like the right opportunity at a time when Australia have no Test matches scheduled," said Siddle. "Nottinghamshire have an excellent pedigree and they're keen to challenge on all fronts which really appeals to me." Pattinson and Siddle sign for Melbourne Renegades

Australian Fast bowlers James Pattinson and Peter Siddle have signed Melbourne Renegades for the forthcoming season of the T20 Big Bash League . " I want to get back into playing short-form cricket, "Siddle said. " To have that opportunity again in four over bursts, having a crack and getting the pace up there. I think it'll be a lot of fun.
