Mike Hesson has been announced the head coach of the New Zealand Cricket team by replacing John Wright . His contract runs through the end of 2015 ICC World Cup. Former Australia coach and The director of New Zealand's cricket John Buchanan said, " We were impressed with the way Mike presented himself and he was the stand-out applicant from a strong field of candidates. Mike has been a successful first-class coach with the Otago team in recent years and has also had valuable experience working with New Zealand A sides. " Hesson said " it was an honour and a privilege to coach New Zealand. "

Mike Sandle has been appointed as the new manager of The New Zealand Cricket Team . Sandle , 49, have served for more than 24 years in the NewZealand Police Force. Mike Sandle replaces Dave Currie, who stepped down after the World Cup 2011 in April. He has also worked full time for Blues Super 15 rugby team as team manager. John Buchanan , The NZC director of cricket said Sandle had the qualities and it's fantastic for the New Zealand Cricket and I'm sure he will do a Superb job in what can be a challenging logistics role.
