The West Indies batsman Chris Gayle has denied the rumours of his retirement from all forms of cricket following their World Cup quarter-final loss to New Zealand by 143 runs on Saturday at Wellington. The all-rounder, who has been suffering with his back problems in recent years, the 35-year-old Jamaican insists that he has no intentions to leave the cricket. "I definitely want to play the T20 World Cup next year for West Indies, there's no doubt about that.” the left-handed batsman told ESPNCricinfo . "I've got a few concerns and a few injury [cases] to try and solve. I'll give myself some time and hopefully look back at it and see how well I can actually progress for West Indies cricket at this point in time."
