Brisbane Heat have re-signed wicket-keeper batsman Jimmy Peirson for a further two years ahead of the 10th edition of Big Bash League. The 28-year-old has played 60 matches for the Heat since joining the franchise back in 2014-15. The Heat has also secured the 25-year-old batsman Sam Heazlett and right-arm seamer Mark Steketee on new deals. Brisbane Heat to begin their campaign against the Melbourne Stars on December 11 followed by a clash with the Sydney Thunder on December 14.
