Brisbane Heat have re-signed wicket-keeper batsman Jimmy Peirson for a further two years ahead of the 10th edition of Big Bash League. The 28-year-old has played 60 matches for the Heat since joining the franchise back in 2014-15. Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah has been signed up as a replacement player by Brisbane Heat for the upcoming season of the Big Bash League.
