New Zealand Squad tour to Sri Lanka

New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum and Ross Taylor both have not been included for the limited-overs tour to Sri Lanka , starting from November 10. Luke Ronchi and Ian Butler will replace McCullum and Taylor in the squad. Kane Williamson will be the captain in the three ODIs and two T20Is in Sri Lanka. Bruce Edgar , New Zealand Cricket's general manager said, "Ross and Brendon need red-ball preparation to be at their best for the summer, both players are vital to our success and fine-tuning their red-ball skills before the West Indies series starting in early December is paramount." New Zealand are schedule to play the first two ODIs on November 10 and 12 in Hambantota, third ODI in Dambulla on November 16. The two T20Is will be played in Kandy on November 19 and 21. Ross Taylor signs Caribbean Premier League

The New Zealand batsman, Ross Taylor has signed the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and became the third foreign player after Ricky Ponting and Adam Gilchrist to sign CPL . Six international players of West Indies have already confirmed their participation in this league- Dwayne Bravo, Chris Gayle, Darren Sammy, Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine and Marlon Samuels. Taylor said, " I am very excited about playing in the first ever edition of the CPL, As current world champions, West Indies have been a force in T20 cricket over the past couple of years, and CPL should help uncover new international superstars in the mould of Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine. New Zealand ODI and T20 squad to face England

New Zealand captain Ross Taylor has been returned to the one-day and Twenty20 squads against England side in this month. New Zealand will start the series with three T20s and three ODIs against England, starting from February 9. A squad for the three-Test series against England will be announced separately.
