Former Australian pacer Brett Lee has married to his girlfriend Lana Anderson at his new home in Seaforth, according to DailyTelegraph . The 37-year-old Lee ties the knot for second time, after he divorced to his first wife Elizabeth Kemp in 2008. The report claims that the couple is believed to have moved in together at the end of last year.

Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has announced his retirement from international cricket on Friday. Lee said via Twitter, " It's official, I have retired from international cricket. Thanks for all your love and support. It's been an amazing 13 years. " Lee, 35, said it was the right time to end to his 13 years long career. Lee had alreadt retired from Tests in February 2010.  In his career Lee took 310 wickets in Tests and 380 in one-day internationals. He will continue to play in the KFC Big Bash League and the Indian Premier League .

Sydney, Tuesday, October 11, 2011 Australian great fast bowler Brett Lee has been ruled out of the ODI and Twenty-20 series against South Africa due to diagnosed with appendicitis. Cricket Australia said in a statement due to have an operation in Cape Town, Brett Lee will away from cricket for six to eight weeks. Alex Kountouris, Team physio said in a statement, " Brett Lee complained of some abdominal pain after arriving in Cape Town on Sunday. He will obviously be ruled out of the Twenty20 and ODI series in South Africa and is likely to return to cricket in six to eight weeks. " Australia will start their tour against South Africa with Twenty-20 match in Cape Town on Thursday.

Melbourne, Sunday, 19 June 2011 Australia fast bowler Brett Lee has opened a music studio for children living in slums in Mumbai. Lee quoted in The Sydney Morning Herald said that during the first visit to India, i will never forget the first experience of seeing poverty.I saw Wealth and poverty in India.I think that I am blessed to experience it because, if you only see one way you will not know the other side. Children living in slums will be taught free music in the studio.
