Clarke out, Finch in for IPL-6

Australian cricket team Captain Michael Clarke has been ruled out of the entire season of IPL 6 due to a back injury. Aaron Finch , The Australian Right-handed batsman who plays for Victoria will replace him in the Pune Warriors squad for the upcoming season of IPL. Finch will join Pune Warriors after playing for Rajasthan Royals in 2010 and Delhi Daredevils in 2011 and 2012. He plays for Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League and averaged 66.40 in eight matches last season, scoring 332 runs with a highest score of 111 not out. Sri Lanka's T20 squad against Bangladesh

Kumar Sangakkara, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Nuwan Kulasekara have been rested for the one-off Twenty20 international match against Bangladesh. Five Uncapped player, Shehan Jayasuriya, Chaturanga de Silva, Ramith Rambukwella, and fast bowler Ishan Jayaratne were added to the squad. Gilchrist Sign Caribbean Premier League

The former Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist is the second international franchise player, after Ricky Ponting , to play with the newly formed Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Gilchrist said, " The CPL will feature some of the world's best cricketers, and I can't wait to test my skills and play in what is going to be a dynamic and exciting competition, I have fond memories of playing cricket in the Caribbean. Plus, I love playing the Twenty20 format, and there is absolutely no better place anywhere to do this than the West Indies. " The CPL will begin on July 29, and conclude on August 26.

WV Raman Kings XI assistant Coach

The former India opener WV Raman has been named assistant coach of Kings XI Punjab in the upcoming season of Indian Premier League. It will be his first assignment in this tournament and he will be incrporated with head coach Darren Lehmann. Raman had played 11 Tests and 27 ODIs for India and has plenty of domestic coaching experience. Raman said he looked forward to his new assignment. " Kings XI Punjab has the right mix of experienced as well as young players supported by a world class coaching staff and I shall do my best to get the best out of the players. "

Sri Lanka ODI Squad against Bangladesh

Sri Lankan Left-arm spinner Rangana Herath has been rested for the first ODI against Bangladesh, starting on March 23. Where as, Mahela Jayawardene has been out due to a fracture to the middle finger of his left hand. Ponting to join Caribbean Premier League (CPL)

Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting will become the first international player to be participate in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The CPL will begin on July 29 to August 26. Six franchise countries will be involved in CPL: Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Lucia and Trinidad & Tobago. Ponting said,  " The West Indies has always been one of my favourite cricket destinations, The mix of entertainment and cricket is the perfect recipe for West Indian cricket fans, as well as the rest of the world. The format and concept is fantastic, and I am sure it will be a huge success right from the start."

New Zealand squad for 2nd Test against England

New Zealand have announced an unchanged squad for the second Test against England. Hesson said " I was very pleased with both the bowling and batting efforts in Dunedin and we plan to build on that in Wellington. " New Zealand Squad : Brendon McCullum (captain), Trent Boult, Tom Latham, Bruce Martin, Dean Brownlie, Ian Butler, Hamish Rutherford, Tim Southee, Neil Wagner, BJ Watling, Ross Taylor, Kane Williamson, Peter Fulton.

West Indies test squad vs Zimbabwe

West Indies all-rounder Marlon Samuels has been added to the West Indies squad after a two-month injury break, for the first Test against Zimbabwe begins on March 12. WI Squad : Darren Sammy (capt), Denesh Ramdin (wk & vice-capt), Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Narsingh Deonarine, Tino Best, Darren Bravo, Veerasammy Permaul, Kieron Powell, Shannon Gabriel, Chris Gayle, Marlon Samuels, Kemar Roach and Shane Shillingford.

Worcestershire sign Jacob Oram

New Zealand allrounder Jacob Oram has signed Worcestershire for their 2013 Friends Life t20 campaign. A big-hitting batsman Oram, 34, will also play for Mumbai Indians in the IPL and recentaly he played in the Bangladesh Premier League, " The opportunity to play for Worcestershire in this season's competition was something I could not turn down ," Oram said. " While I have never played county cricket, it has always been a goal of mine so I am very excited at the prospect. "

Kings XI Punjab New Signings

Kings XI Punjab have added two uncapped Indian players to their squad. An aggressive batsman Manan Vohra from panchkula and a right-arm medium pace bowler Sandeep Sharma from Patiala has been included for the sixth season of Indian Premier League. Col. Arvinder Singh, COO, Kings XI Punjab, said, " I am very delighted to have a good performers like Aniket, Manan and Sandeep to be part of the Kings XI team and believe they will effectively contribute to the tournament. We wish them all the best and hope that they can utilise this opportunity as a platform to make a mark a niche for themselves as well. " Kings XI Punjab to play their first IPL match against Pune Warriors on April 7.

Sri Lanka Emerging XI against Bangladesh

Sri Lanka's Left-handed top-order batsman Kumar Sangakkara has been included in the Emerging XI squad for a three-day warm up match against Bangladesh in Matara. Former Sri Lanka wicketkeeper-batsman Romesh Kaluwitharana has been named The Emerging XI coach 16-man squad : Angelo Perera (capt), Kithuruwan Vithanage (vice capt), Ashen Silva, Niroshan Dickwella (wk), Kumar Sangakkara, Udara Jayasundera, Ishan Jayaratne, Dushmantha Chameera, Shehan Jayasuriya, Ashan Priyanjana, Chaturanga de Silva, Dulanjana Mendis, Shehan Jayasuriya, Ashan Priyanjana, Ramith Rambukwella, Vishwa Fernando, Kasun Madushanka, Lahiru Gamage.
