West Indies skipper Dwayne Bravo has signed Melbourne Renegades for the KFC T20 Big Bash League .  The 30-year-old Bravo is likely to play match against the Sydney Sixers on Jan 18, and against the Adelaide Strikers on January 22. Melbourne Renegades Coach Simon Helmot said, "Dwayne is one of the best T20 all-rounders in the world. He can bat at the top and bowls anywhere." "He's experienced and we look forward to welcoming him to the club." 

West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels has signed Melbourne Renegades for the coming season of Big Bash League. Simon Helmot , Renegades coach said, " He'll provide much-needed firepower at the top of the order and brings a certain X-factor to the team, His quality right-arm offies [offspin] and excellent fielding combine to make him a genuine allrounder.  Marlon provides a huge boost for the team in all facets of the game and we can't wait to see him in Renegade red this summer. "

Melbourne Renegade s have confirmed the signing of the fast bowler Brendan Drew for this season's Big Bash League . Last summer Drew had played with the Adelaide Strikers and the 28 year-old has also been a regular player for Tasmania. Simon Helmot , the Renegades coach, said, " Brendan is a handy T20 bowler and he proved as much with the Strikers last season. He's certainly been a consistent performer in the shortest form of the game at the domestic level, He's also shown he can handle the willow and has a T20 strike rate of 128 from his 19 games for the Strikers and Tasmania. "
