Brooke Guest signs new two-year contract with Derbyshire

Derbyshire have announced that wicketkeeper-batsman Brooke Guest has signed a two-year contract extension with the club, keeping him at The Incora County Ground until the 2025 season. The 25-year-old was ever-present for Derbyshire during the 2022 season, contributing more than 1,000 runs in all formats, as well as claiming 72 dismissals behind the wickets. Since his debut for Derbyshire in 2020, the right-handed batter has scored 2,177 runs, including five centuries and seven half-centuries. Guest said: “In the last year, I feel like I’ve taken my game to another level and I want to keep that progression going with Derbyshire. “As a squad, we’ve improved a lot already under our world-class coaching setup and the ambition is to target trophies. Delray Rawlins: Sussex all-rounder agrees contract extension

Sussex allrounder Delray Rawlins has extended his contract. The 25-year-old, who helped the Sharks reach the Royal London Cup semi-finals in 2022, has played 104 times for the club since his debut in 2017. "Obviously I have been here my entire professional career and I am looking forward to building on the good things we did this summer," the all-rounder said. "This year I worked on certain aspects of my game, and I am pleased with the progress made so hopefully I can go again next year and produce bigger numbers for the team." Rawlins has claimed 66 wickets and scored 2,653 runs across all formats.
