Adam Voges reached the 1000 Test runs milestone against the West Indies during the 2nd Test at Melbourne on Sunday. The veteran claimed his name up among the ‘Greats Australians’ when he became the equal fourth fastest batsmen to score 1000 Test runs. Perth Scorchers have signed the South African allrounder Albie Morkel as the second overseas player for the Big Bash League 2012-13. The Scorchers also signed batsman Adam Voges from the Melbourne Stars and the wicketkeeper Tom Triffitt from Tasmania.
