Worcestershire have announced the re-signing of Pakistan spinner Saeed Ajmal for his third spell at New Road in 2015. The off-spinner becomes the second overseas player to commit himself to the Pears, following the New Zealand all-rounder Colin Munro, who will play in the T20 Blast. Saeed took 63 wickets in nine Division Two outings last term. Worcestershire to begin their new campaign against the county champions Yorkshire on April 12.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has suspended Pakistan spin maestro Saeed Ajmal from bowling in an international matches with immediate effect after his bowling action was found illegal. The right-arm spinner, who is currently number-one-ranked bowler in one-day international cricket, has taken 178 wickets in 35 Test matches at an average of 28.10 and 183 wickets in 111 ODI’s at 22.18 average. It has been deemed by the ICC that Ajmal’s action was found to be outside of the 15 degrees tolerance while he was being tested in Brisbane last month. A statement from the ICC said: "The player has been suspended from bowling in international cricket with immediate effect. "Saeed can apply a re-assessment after he has modified his bowling action in accordance with clause 2.4 of the Regulations for the Review of Bowlers Reported with Suspected Illegal Bowling Actions." The Pakistan spin bowler, Saeed Ajmal has signed Hampshire for the later stages of the 2013 county cricket . Ajmal will join Hampshire in the mid of August and September. Giles White, The Hampshire's manager, said, " As things stand, it is possible that both George and Danny could be involved in the ODI series between England and Australia so the availability of Saeed for August and September is a great fit. Ajmal said, " I am really excited about playing for the Adelaide Strikers and really happy that I will get the chance to show my talent in the BBL. " The coach, Darren Berry was delighted to have signed Ajmal for Adelaide Strikers, " We know what this guy is capable of, having seen him run through both the Australian and English batsmen a couple of months ago, so to have him on board is a great result for the Strikers, " Berry said. Pakistan fast bowler, Sohail Tanvir has joined Worcestershire for Friends Life t20, taking the place of Saeed Ajmal due to international commitments. In his Twenty20 career, Tanvir has taken 83 wickets. Director of Worcestershire, Steve Rhodes said, " Sohail is an ideal replacement for Saeed Ajmal because Saeed was a tremendous bowler at the death and this is the type of role we want Sohail to play. Added to his bowling skills, he also has the ability to hit the ball hard which is an obvious asset at the end of our innings. "
