England players urinate on The Oval pitch

Once again, there is a huge controversy in ashes , with the three top England players were allegedly urinated on the Oval pitch after the fifth and final Test ended on Monday.  The allegations originated from Australian journalists who were present at the media box in the stadium as darkness enveloped the ground. According to reports, several England players including Stuart Broad , Kevin Pietersen and Jimmy Anderson took turns to urinate on The Oval pitch to the cheers of their teammates. Matt Prior wins England player of the year 2013

A wicket-keeper & batsman Matt Prior has been named the England cricketer-of-the-year for 2012/13. " It was fantastic when I found out, a huge honour to be singled out as player of the year, " said Prior, the first wicket-keeper to win the award. " I feel slightly uncomfortable with it, because individual accolades are not really the reason I play. "I want this team to win. I get much more out of the group winning a Test or series," he added ahead of a season where England will defend the Ashes against Australia . "I think it's very easy to look back and think 'that was a great year' and pat yourself on the back," said Prior. "That's certainly not something I'll be doing. "Yes, it was a great year - and I'll take a huge amount of confidence from it. "But you've got to knuckle down and look to improve. "It's back to the drawing board now, and it all starts again."

Sydney Thunder sign Prior and Guptill

Sydney Thunder have signed England wicketkeeper Matt Prior and the New Zealand opener batsman Martin Guptill to this summer's BBL. The Thunder coach Shane Duff said, " Martin is an outstanding player in all formats. Paul Collingwood, Matt Prior Dropped from ODI Squad

England's Paul Collingwood and  Matt Prior has been out from the Upcoming one-day and Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka. Since Collingwood retired from Test cricket, after won the Ashes in Australia but he was included in the World Cup 2011 team. After returning from World Cup, Collingwood T-20 captaincy has been stripped and replaced by new captain Stuart Broad . England all-rounder Samit Patel and wicketkeeper Craig Kieswetter has been selected for the team in ODI and T-20 series against Sri Lanka. Kieswetter have been chosen to replace Matt Prior. Fast bowler Brad is likely to be fit to play Twenty20 match against Sri Lanka on Saturday. Brad was hurt during the third Test against Sri lanka. Fast bowler Chris Tremlett has given the rest for the upcoming Test series against India.

Broke the window at Lords was just an accident - Prior

London, Friday, 10 June 2011 England wicketkeeper Matt Prior has said that during the second Test against Sri Lanka at Lords broke the window in the dressing room was not intentionally but it was an accident. Prior was out for 99 runs on the last day of the match at Lords. He then caught up in controversy when the dressing room window glass was found broken in the audience Members area.
