New Zealand Test Squad against India

New Zealand have announced squad 13-man squad for the two Tests match series against India , starting on February 6 at Eden Park, Auckland. Test Schedule 1st Test on February 6 at Eden Park, Auckland. 2nd Test on February 14 at Wellington. New Zealand Test Squad : Brendon McCullum (c), Corey Anderson, Hamish Rutherford, Jesse Ryder, Ish Sodhi, Trent Boult, Doug Bracewell, Peter Fulton, Ross Taylor, Neil Wagner, BJ Watling, Tim Southee, Kane Williamson.

Hampshire sign Kyle Abbott for 2014 season

Hampshire have completed the signing of South African bowler Kyle Abbott for the 2014 entire season. The 26-year-old, who has played only four matches for his country across all formats and will join the county side against Gloucestershire on April 13. "To have a bowler of Kyle's quality available for the entire 2014 campaign is a huge boost to the squad," Hampshire director of cricket Giles White said. "He comes highly recommended both as a player and a person and we look forward to him joining up with the squad in April." Abbott has sensational first-class record in which he too 165 wickets at 21.92. 

Sri Lanka Test Squad for Bangladesh Series

Sri Lanka spinner Ajantha Mendis has been added to the 15-man squad for the two Test matches series against Bangladesh , starting next week. Sri Lanka to play two Tests, three ODIs and two Twenty20 games in Bangladesh tour. Australia Test Squad for South Africa Tour

Australian batsman George Bailey has been excluded from 15-man Test squad against South Africa, starting from February 12 at Centurion. Alex Doolan and Shaun Marsh both have been included for the test series. National selector John Inverarity said: " We believe this is a strong squad with sufficient flexibility for this great challenge of taking on the world's top-ranked Test team. George Bailey, who played an important role in the Test team that defeated England 5-0, has been overlooked for this tour. Sussex sign Yasir Arafat for NatWest T20 Blast

Pakistani all-rounder Yasir Arafat has signed Sussex for the NatWest T20 Blast tournament which is starting from mid-May until late July, www.sussexcricket.co.uk announced. Arafat has been added as an overseas player for the entire T20 Blast group campaign this season. He already played for Sussex for three times in 2006, 2009 and 2010. The 31-year-old is currently playing in Big Bash League for Perth Scorchers. In Arafat's international career, he has played only three Tests, 11 ODI's and 13 Twenty20 internationals.

Bravo signs Melbourne Renegades

West Indies skipper Dwayne Bravo has signed Melbourne Renegades for the KFC T20 Big Bash League .  The 30-year-old Bravo is likely to play match against the Sydney Sixers on Jan 18, and against the Adelaide Strikers on January 22. Melbourne Renegades Coach Simon Helmot said, "Dwayne is one of the best T20 all-rounders in the world. He can bat at the top and bowls anywhere." "He's experienced and we look forward to welcoming him to the club." 

Alan Richardson named as Warwickshire bowling coach

Alan Richardson has been named as Warwickshire bowling coach after following his retirement. He will replaces Graeme Welch, reports The Telegraph . Richardson, 38, had played for Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Middlesex and Worcestershire. He made his County Championship debut in 1999, for Warwickshire " I have been working on my coaching qualifications for some time and, whilst I had planned to have one more season as a player with Worcestershire, this is a fantastic opportunity for me in this next stage of my career with Warwickshire, " Richardson said.

Corey Anderson hits fastest ODI century, IPL Franchises Alert!

On 1- January-2014, New Zealand Left-handed batsman Corey Anderson has set a new record of hitting fastest century off just 36 balls in an ODI against West Indies. In 1996, Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi had made the record in just 37 balls. Now, Anderson has made the fastest ever international century with the help of 16 sixes. Though, it's fact that the grounds in New Zealand are shorter than others. Surely, IPL franchises will be looking to secure the services of 23-year-old hitter soon for the next campaign.
