New Zealand coach Mike Hesson has extended his contract after signing on for further two years after 2015 World Cup. Hesson’s current contract was due to expire at the end of April 2015, but that has now been extended to the another two years until the end of April 2017. Kumar Sangakkara joins Durham

The veteran Sri Lanka batsman Kumar Sangakkara has signed Durham on a short-term deal for the next two rounds of County Championship matches. Sangakkara, 36, will play the upcoming LV=County Championship clash against Yorkshire and Sussex next month. " I'm really looking forward to returning to county cricket with Durham and I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity, " the left-hander told the club's official website . Sangakkara has scored more than 25,000 runs for his nation across all three formats.

Yardy signs Sussex Extension

The left-handed batsman Michael Yardy has signed a new one-year contract extension with Sussex that will keep him at the club for the next two seasons (2015), Sussex County Cricket Club announced on their website. Yardy told the club's website: "I'm really happy to have extended my contract with Sussex." The 33-year-old has played 167 games by scoring over 9,000 runs for Sussex, in addition he played 28 ODIs and 14 Twenty20's for England since his debut in 2006.

Andrew Signs Contract With Worcestershire

Gareth Andrew the all-rounder has signed a new two-year contract extension with Worcestershire until the end of the 2013 season. Since moving to Worcestershire, his game has flourished so much so that he become a great all-rounder player, with an innings of 65 not out in an FLt20 match against Warwickshire . Andrew said: " I am delighted to extend my contract with the Club for another two years ." " There's a great atmosphere in the dressing room and the team are progressing well for the future. Hopefully we can continue our development to maintain Division One status next year. " Steve Rhodes , Director of Cricket added: " To hold on to a player of Andrew's abilities is a huge boost to the Club and our supporters too. His career is on an upward curve with the great years ahead of him. "
