Leicestershire sign Dan Redfern

The Left-handed batsman Dan Redfern has signed a two-year contract with Leicestershire . The former Derbyshire batsman is the youngest batsman ever to play List A limited overs cricket. He averages 29.47, in 70 first-class matches. The 23-year-old said: " I am grateful to Phil Whitticase and his staff for this opportunity and look forward to the challenge ahead."

List of 2014 ICC World Twenty20 squads in Bangladesh

ICC T20 World Cup cricket Series will begin on 16th Mar 2014 in Bangladesh. India Squad for ICC World Twenty20 - 2014

India 's All-rounder Yuvraj Singh and medium-pacer Mohit Sharma both have been included for the World T20 Tournament in Bangladesh. Moin Khan named Pakistan coach for Asia Cup and World T20

Pakistan Cricket Board appointed the former Pakistan's wicketkeeper Moin Khan as a new head coach of Pakistan cricket team for the forthcoming two big tournaments - Asia Cup and World T20 to be held in Bangladesh. Moin is set to replace Dav Whatmore, whose current contract with PCB expires this month and recently been replaced by Zakir Khan. In addition, PCB appointed the former fast bowler Mohammad Akram as a team's bowling coach on a two-year contract. Pakistan is currently sit on fifth, sixth and fourth position at the ICC rankings for Tests, ODIs and Twenty20 respectively. Following with these two above appointments by PCB will boost the ranking of Pakistan cricket team.

India Squad for Asia Cup 2014 in Bangladesh

Due to recent poor form, Left-handed middle-order batsman Suresh Raina and fast bowler Ishant Sharma both have been ruled out of Asia Cup squad starting on February 25 in Bangladesh. However, right-handed batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has been added to the Asia Cup squad. Pujara get his first ODI call since the tour to Zimbabwe on his ODI debut. There will be five teams participating in Asia Cup 2014: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. Gary Kirsten Refused Becoming England Coach

The former South Africa coach Gary Kirsten has refused to become the new England team director for family reasons, according to report from the SkySports . The former World Cup winning coach of the Indian cricket team has been linked with the new role of England coach following with the resignation of Andy Flower . Kirsten was appointed coach of the South Africa in June 2011 and took the Proteas to number one spot in the ICC Test rankings during his tenure till August 2013. Kirsten coaching careeer was started in March 2008 and currently he is appointed as the new head coach of Delhi Daredevils in IPL season-7 for a three year contract. The report claims, Ashley Giles could become the limited-overs coach for England cricket team.

Yardy signs Sussex Extension

The left-handed batsman Michael Yardy has signed a new one-year contract extension with Sussex that will keep him at the club for the next two seasons (2015), Sussex County Cricket Club announced on their website. Yardy told the club's website: "I'm really happy to have extended my contract with Sussex." The 33-year-old has played 167 games by scoring over 9,000 runs for Sussex, in addition he played 28 ODIs and 14 Twenty20's for England since his debut in 2006.
