England Twenty20 and ODI squad against India

Fast bowler James Anderson and batsman Jonathan Trott has been ruled out from the ODI series against India in January and replaced them with Chris Woakes and Jos Buttler. ECB said in a statement, " Woakes and Buttler replace Anderson and Trott in the India ODI squad as the selectors look to manage workloads. " Twenty20 squad : Jonny Bairstow, Tim Bresnan, Jade Dernbach, Alex Hales, Danny Briggs, Jos Buttler, Samit Patel, James Tredwell, oin Morgan (capt), Luke Wright, Michael Lumb, Stuart Meaker, E Joe Root, James Harris. ODI squad : Alastair Cook (capt), Jonny Bairstow, Jade Dernbach, Steven Finn, Ian Bell, Tim Bresnan, Stuart Meaker, Eoin Morgan, Danny Briggs, Craig Kieswetter, Kevin Pietersen, James Tredwell, Samit Patel, Chris Woakes, Jos Buttler.

England cricketers met with an taxi accident

England start cricketer   Kevin Pietersen , Stuart Broad , Monty Panesar and Jonathan Trott escaped unhurt during a minor incident by travelling in a taxi in Duabi. According to the cricket website: " They were travelling in taxi at the speed of 100kph when suddenly the taxi's bonnet flew up and hit into the windscreen, obscuring the driver's vision. Hopefully, the driver was able to stop the car safely "

Kohli, Gambhir, Raina won CEAT rating award

India's middle order batsman Suresh Raina and Virat Kohli won the Ceat International Youngster of the Year 2011 and T20 Player of the Year awards on Saturday. Left handed opener batsman Gautam Gambhir won the Match-Winning Innings of the Year for his brilliant 97 runs against Sri Lanka on April 2, in the World Cup final at Wankhede Stadium . England batsman Jonathan Trott won two awards, international cricketer of the year and batsman of the year award. James Anderson won International Bowler of the Year award. Indian explosive batsman Virender sehwag and VVS Laxman both were honored with special award for their huge contribution to Indian cricket and for completing 10 years in international cricket. West Indies former fast bowler Courtney Walsh won the Lifetime Achievement Award for the 2010-11 season. All nine players receive the awards worth Rs 5lakh each and a trophy.

Injured batsman Jonathan Trott has been replaced by England's most exciting all-rounder Ravi Bopara in the third test against India. while off-spinner Graeme Swann have been announced fit for the match. The England and Wales Cricket Board has awarded the Player of the Year award to Jonathan Trott for Consistently doing well in cricket. Based on the votes of British cricket media the award is given to that players who played significant role in the performance of the year to England. Trott was born in South Africa from the beginning of the 2010 till the end of the World Cup season, He scored 2246 with an average of 68.06 It include Seven centuries and last year 226 runs against Bangladesh in Lords.In Ashes, His average is 89 which is best after Alastair Cook . Trott said : "I am very happy with this honor. Last year was my best year of my career.It's proud to be part of England Team. I am lucky that I am part of such a hardworking team. Without the cooperation and dedication of my fellow players, i could not get this award. The entire team is honored.
