Indian Star Cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh were approached to buy a car racing team in the proposed i1 Super Series which begins from December 18. The base price of a team will be USD 5 million . Nine teams, with two-two cars each, will compete in the races that will take place in seven cities of Asia. The CEO of event promoters Machdar Motorsports , M Darshan has today said in a press conference " Cricket and Bollywood stars and a few top industrialists have already shown a keen interest to own the nine Indian city-based franchise teams. Cricketers Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh have been approached. " Great batsman Tendulkar himself is a big fan of formula 1 and recently sachin sold his ferrari to a surat city based businessmam.
