Former Australian batsman, Stuart Law has been appointed the new coach of Queensland Bulls and Brisbane Heat for the next three seasons. Law, 44, who took his retirement in 2009, since then he has built up plenty of coaching experience with the Bangladesh national team and for a short term period with Sri Lanka after the 2011 World Cup. He was also coach of the Australia Under-19 side and batting coach of the senior team last year, and was assistant coach of the women's team that won the World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka. "I've very excited to again be involved with cricket in Queensland, which is where I got my start,'' Law said. "Hopefully I can help the next generation to achieve all they can in the game and play it at the highest level possible." Stuart Law , Bangladesh national team coach has resigned from the post of coach due to his family reasons. Law said that he is quitting his job because his family is moving to Australia from the UK and he added that his resignation will be effective from June 30, 2012.

Colombo, Friday, 15 July 2011 Former fast bowler Rumesh Ratnayake has been appointed to the new coach of Sri Lanka cricket team for the series against Australia starting from 6th August. Sri Lanka cricket chief Upali Dharmadasa said that, For Sri Lanka 23 Tests played between the 1983 and 1992, Rumesh Ratnayake will replace Australia's Stuart Law . Law was the team's assistant coach. Dharmadasa said Ratnayake is limited to the appointment in the series against Australia of three Tests, five ODIs and a Twenty20 international match is included. Former Australian cricketer and current interim coach of Sri Lanka , Stuart Law has been appointed the coach of Bangladesh cricket team. He will replace compatriot Jamie Siddons . Stuart Law is currently with the Sri Lanka in England Tour. He will Join Bangladesh in mid-July before the Zimbabwe tour. Bangladesh Cricket Board spokesman said: " Stuart Law has been appointed coach for two years, His period will begin from 1st July ." On behalf of Australia, Law played a Test and 54 ODI.
