Praveen & Umpire (Marais Erasmus) Arguments

Nottingham, Saturday, 30 July 2011 India's medium-pacer Praveen Kumar , was fined 20 per cent of his match fee for abusing the umpire in the first day of the second Test against England . This happened in England's first innings during 18th over. Praveen appeal lbw strongly against England's star batsman Kevin Pietersen but the appeal was rejected by the South African umpire Marais Erasmus . Praveen angry to blows with the umpire. ICC has been fined 20 percent of his match fee.

Pakistan cricket team for Zimbabwe Tour

Pakistani selectors announced Pakistan Playing Squad for Zimbabwe tour and included three Fresh players in the squad on Thursday. The selectors decided to take rest for leading pace bowlers Wahab Riaz, Umar Gul, Tanvir Ahmed & Spinner Abdul Rehman for the Zimbabwe tour includes just one Test, three ODI's and a T20 match. Selectors have recalled Fast bowlers Sohail Tanvir and Sohail Khan and retained Junaid Khan and Aizaz Cheema. Cheema was dropped after being declared unfit in previous tour of the West Indies. Chief selector Mohsin Khan said " We have decided to give the players who have done well in domestic cricket a chance to play in the national to see how they adjust to the top level. " Khan made clear that senior players had been rested for the coming tour against Sri Lanka and England later in the year. Tatenda Taibu Back to Zimbabwe XI

Batsman Wicketkeeper Tatenda Taibu to play his first appearance after being in the Zimbabwe XI squad for the three day warm up match starting on Saturday against Bangladesh. Taibu was suffered a thumb injury during pre-season training in world cup 2011. He is one of the most experienced players in the Zimbabwean Cricket team and his return would be a major boost for his team. Akhtar will Play T20 cricket in Singapore

Shoaib Akhtar Former Pakistan fast bowler, will be seen in action later this week during an invitational T20 event in Singapore.The T20 event is being organized at the Singapore cricket club . Imran Farhat , Pakistan opener and some other Pakistani players to take part in the T20 event that will also feature leading players from various countries. Shoaib Akhtar who announced his retirement after the World Cup 2011 reported tiff with the Pakistan team management over disciplinary issues. Today here in Sydney Cricket Australia launched the upcoming KFC T20 Big Bash League in a sparkling night. Former Australian Test opener Matthew Hayden signs with Brisbane Heat in Big Bash Twenty20 League In 2009 Hayden was retired from international cricket with 103-Test in his career, he played last in the 2010 for Chennai SuperKings in Indian Premier League. Darren Lehmann coach of Brisbane Heat said " the 39-year-old was ready to return and make a splash in this summer's revamped domestic Twenty20 competition. " Lehmann said that Hayden was happy to do to take part in the Big Bash Twenty20 League . Mike Sandle The New Manager of Black Caps

Mike Sandle has been appointed as the new manager of The New Zealand Cricket Team . Sandle , 49, have served for more than 24 years in the NewZealand Police Force. Mike Sandle replaces Dave Currie, who stepped down after the World Cup 2011 in April. He has also worked full time for Blues Super 15 rugby team as team manager. John Buchanan , The NZC director of cricket said Sandle had the qualities and it's fantastic for the New Zealand Cricket and I'm sure he will do a Superb job in what can be a challenging logistics role.

Brendon McCullum to captain for Otago in T20

Otago Cricket has announced that Brendon McCullum will captain the Otago Volts in 2011-12 HRV Cup T20 competition & Aaron Redmond will lead the side in four-day Plunket Shield and 50-over-a-side competitions. The New Zealand domestic schedule of HRV Cup T20 competition is yet to be released but it's expected the HRV Cup T20 competition will begin from Boxing Day through to to late January. The HRV Cup T20 competition is likely to feature most of the BlackCaps players which increase the interest in domestic competition .

Damien Wright appointed bowling coach of New Zealand

Former Australian state cricketer Damien Wright has been appointed New Zealand (BLACKCAPS) bowling coach, New Zealand Cricket Stated. Damien Wright, 35, In his 123 matches carree he took 406 First-Class wickets replaces Allan Donald in the new role. He started his First-Class career in 1997 with Tasmania and joined Victoria in 2008 before retiring earlier this year. He also had stints with Worcestershire , Scotland, Somerset, Worcestershire, Sussex, Northamptonshire, Glamorgan and played 3 matches for the Wellington Firebirds in 2010-11 HRV Cup. New Zealand coach John Wright said " the appointment of Damien Wright is an exciting one for BLACKCAPS and he will make a best contribution to the team, I am looking forward to working with Damien ". Wright begins the role on 5 September at New Zealand Cricket in Lincoln.

Andrew Signs Contract With Worcestershire

Gareth Andrew the all-rounder has signed a new two-year contract extension with Worcestershire until the end of the 2013 season. Since moving to Worcestershire, his game has flourished so much so that he become a great all-rounder player, with an innings of 65 not out in an FLt20 match against Warwickshire . Andrew said: " I am delighted to extend my contract with the Club for another two years ." " There's a great atmosphere in the dressing room and the team are progressing well for the future. Hopefully we can continue our development to maintain Division One status next year. New Zealander Mike Hesson the New Coach of Kenya

Kenya cricket have appointed New Zealander Michael Hesson as the new cricket national coach of the teram, officials said on Tuesday. Chief excutive of Cricket Kenya Tom Sears said in a statement " We are delighted to have Mike's services. He has an excellent record of successful teams and developing players, and he has worked with some of the best players in the game. Smith's Injury keeps out of Champions League

South Africa cricket Test captain Graeme Smith has withdraw from the Champions League Twenty20 tournament due to his knee surgery. CSA said : Smith had an injury when he was playing for Pune Warriors in the IPL-4 in April and underwent a proper cartilage operation on Friday. Proteas team manager Mohammed Moosajee said "Although his rehabilitation period will be over by the time the Champions League commences, we feel that he will not ready at the time." "He will now in a guided rehabilitation process in the coming weeks and hopefully he'll recover in time for the start of a busy international summer cricket." The Proteas host Australia in three one-dayers, two Tests and two T20 from 13th October, followed by a three Test and five ODI series against Sri Lanka.

Harbhajan' Mother sues UB over Dhoni spoof commerical

Indian Great Spinner, Harbhajan Singh 's mother has lodge a legal notice against an advertisement in which India captain M.s Dhoni ridicules her son. The spoof shows a Harbhajan Singh lookalike being slapped. Harbhajan's mom Avtar Kaur has asked the company to apologise and withdraw the advertisement in 3 days of receiving the legal notice. However, the Times of India newspaper reported that the chief of UB Group " Vijay Mallya ", has ruled out withdrawing the commercial. Vijay Mallya, who is also the head of Formula One [F1] team Force India, told the newspaper that "It was not meant to attack Harbhajan Singh personally. It was just a spoof between two brands" "There are several TV programmes that spoof our politicians. What will happen if all of them start sending legal notices?"

Daniel Vettori , Former New Zealand captain will play for Brisbane Heat in Australian cricket's Twenty20 Big Bash League. The Heat said today that "Vettori will join fellow mate Black Cap Brendon McCullum as Brisbane's 2 international recruits in the league." The Twenty20 Big Bash League will begins in December and Vettori said he was looking to being more involved with the Heat. Darren Lehmann , The Brisbane coach said " Vettori was an obvious leader & his experience and skill would be vital. " Now the Heat would have two quality spinners, the other is Nathan Hauritz . Coach of Sri Lanka is Rumesh Ratnayake

Colombo, Friday, 15 July 2011 Former fast bowler Rumesh Ratnayake has been appointed to the new coach of Sri Lanka cricket team for the series against Australia starting from 6th August. Sri Lanka cricket chief Upali Dharmadasa said that, For Sri Lanka 23 Tests played between the 1983 and 1992, Rumesh Ratnayake will replace Australia's Stuart Law . Law was the team's assistant coach. Dharmadasa said Ratnayake is limited to the appointment in the series against Australia of three Tests, five ODIs and a Twenty20 international match is included. Former left-arm seamer Ratnayake took 73 Test wickets and 76 wickets in 70 ODIs

Stuart Broad doubtful against India

London, Tuesday, 12 July 2011 England's fast bowler Stuart Broad due to injury and poor form not become part of the team in Last match against Sri Lanka may have to sit out the team in the forthcoming series against India. Broad is surviving from the heel and knee injuries. Broad already battling poor form, hence the team's confidence will be a huge setback. Michelle Johnson Will not play in the big bash

Australian Fast bowler Mitchell Johnson has refused to play in big bash due to the busy schedule of the Australian cricket. Australia now have to go to Sri Lanka tour then South Africa tour after returning from South Africa, Australia will host New Zealand and India Series. Johnson said to reporters in Brisbane at Australia training center that " At the moment I've decided not to sign with any of the Twenty20 sides. The Perth Scorchers (a Big Bash side) approached me and at the moment I am just happy to focus on the summer coming up " He said India team is coming here and actually india is extremely strong team. Our coming schedule is quite busy. First go to the Sri Lanka tour then in South Africa. we will be quite busy in the summer in the domestic series so my full attention is on these Schedule.

Afridi is not worthy for captaincy - Ijaz Butt

Sri Lanka Premier League postponed

Colombo, Friday, 8 July 2011 Sri Lanka Premier League tournament has been postponed until next year August 2012 and will be replaced by a provincial tournament including six local teams, without International players. After the withdrawal decision taken by Indian players, there has been created several problems for SPL. According to Cricinfo reports that the decision of postponed the league probably were taken after a meeting between the Sri Lanka's new cricket committee and the league's organizers Somerset Entertainment Ventures.

White Out Of Australia ODI Cricket

Sydney, Wednesday, 6 July 2011 Australian Board has retained Cameron White as a Twenty-20 team captain against Sri Lanka but out of the ODI team. Recently, the poor form of Cameron White, Shaun Marsh will replace him in the ODI team, who did not play at the World Cup this year due to injury. Indian Test Team announced to England tour

Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar and Zaheer Khan as star players has made a return in the 17-Member test squad against England tour. The national selectors, today announced the 17-Member test squad starting from mid-July to England tour. 2012 World cup T20 will have 12 teams

International Cricket Council ( ICC ) made it clear that only 12 teams will be participated in the next two season of T20 World Cup tournament. Haroon Lorgat , Chief Executive of the ICC said that we had to do this in order to maintain balance in T20 World Cup and 50-over World Cup. The next two T20 World Cup will be played in 2012 in Sri Lanka and 2014 in Bangladesh.
