Former Australian state cricketer Damien Wright has been appointed New Zealand (BLACKCAPS) bowling coach, New Zealand Cricket Stated.
Damien Wright, 35, In his 123 matches carree he took 406 First-Class wickets replaces Allan Donald in the new role.
He started his First-Class career in 1997 with Tasmania and joined Victoria in 2008 before retiring earlier this year.
He also had stints with Worcestershire, Scotland, Somerset, Worcestershire, Sussex, Northamptonshire, Glamorgan and played 3 matches for the Wellington Firebirds in 2010-11 HRV Cup.
New Zealand coach John Wright said "the appointment of Damien Wright is an exciting one for BLACKCAPS and he will make a best contribution to the team, I am looking forward to working with Damien".
Wright begins the role on 5 September at New Zealand Cricket in Lincoln.
