Ponting Play For Hobart Hurricanes in Big Bash T20

Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting to play in the Twenty20 Big Bash League for Hobart hurricanes of Tasmania Franchise.
Ponting made his first-class cricket career from the same State.


Ponting said, "In the last few weeks have been much discussion about which player is added to the which team and I am very excited to play with some great players in the team Hobart hurricanes" starting from 30 December to 5 February.

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
