Brendon McCullum to captain for Otago in T20


Otago Cricket has announced that Brendon McCullum will captain the Otago Volts in 2011-12 HRV Cup T20 competition & Aaron Redmond will lead the side in four-day Plunket Shield and 50-over-a-side competitions.

The New Zealand domestic schedule of HRV Cup T20 competition is yet to be released but it's expected the HRV Cup T20 competition will begin from Boxing Day through to to late January.

The HRV Cup T20 competition is likely to feature most of the BlackCaps players which increase the interest in domestic competition.

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia.
