Sri Lanka Premier League tournament has been postponed until next year August 2012 and will be replaced by a provincial tournament including six local teams, without International players. After the withdrawal decision taken by Indian players, there has been created several problems for SPL.
According to Cricinfo reports that the decision of postponed the league probably were taken after a meeting between the Sri Lanka's new cricket committee and the league's organizers Somerset Entertainment Ventures.
