Indian cricket team announced for 1st Two ODI

Harbhajan Singh has been left out from the first two matches of ODI series against England starting from next month. Two new faces in the team, Spinner Rahul Sharma and fast bowler S Aravind is in the list of 15 member squad Indian team. Gautam Gambhir has return in the team after the head injury caused in England. however once again due to injuries, Zaheer Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender sehwag and Yuvraj Singh has not been selected. The first match of five match series will be held in Hyderabad on October 14 and second match will be played on October 17 in Delhi. In Mohali (October 20), Mumbai (October 23) and Kolkata (October 25). the only Twenty20 match against England has been assigned to Kolkata which will be played on October 29. Squad: MS Dhoni (capt & wk), Parthiv Patel, Ajinkya Rahane, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, arun Aaron, Umesh Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin, S Aravind, Rahul Sharma, Manoj Tiwary, Praveen Kumar and V Vinay Kumar.

Australian T20 and ODI Squad for South Africa tour

Fast bowler Mitchell Johnson has been out from Australian T-20 squad for South Africa tour and David Hussey also has been ruled out from the Australian ODI team. Australia to play two T-20 match against South Africa on 13 and 16 October and will start three ODI match series from 19 October while test series will be held in November. Chairman of selectors Andrew Hilditch said, The tour of South Africa will hard enough and South Africa is very strong team and to play on their own territory is always difficult, he said that because of bad performance Johnson was out of T20 squad, although He have been placed in the ODI team, test team will be announced in the next month. Marsh became the new coach of Sri Lanka

Former Australia batsman Geoff Marsh has been announced the Sri Lanka coach for a two year contract, he will replace Trevor Bayliss. Bayliss had resigned with the team After the World Cup in April. Earlier Marsh was the coach for Zimbabwe between 2000-04. He is also currently the coach of Indian Premier League franchise Pune Warriors . Marsh played 50 test and 119 ODI for Australia , He was the 1987 World Cup winning team member.

Gautam Gambhir will marry with Natasha Jain in November

New Delhi, 23 September 2011 According to reports, Gautam Gambhir marriage has been finalized and is likely to take place in late October or early November of this year. Reports also suggest that the marriage would take place in New Delhi. Delhi girl Natasha Jain has won Gauti's heart, is the daughter of a prominent businessman of Delhi. Reports suggest that the marriage was fixed and set a couple of months ago. Nikhil Shantanu were promoted as designers of choice while Rahat Ali Khan or Atif Aslam could perform at the marriage.

Brad Haddin retirement from Twenty20 cricket

Sydney, Thursday, 22 September 2011. Australian wicketkeeper Brad Haddin , has taken retirement from the international Twenty20 cricket format to concentrate in ODI and test cricket only. Haddin has played 25 T-20 matches for Australia and he played his last T20 match against Sri Lanka. He said that there are many reasons behind this decision. Haddin said " I thoroughly enjoy Twenty20 cricket and have taken great pride from playing all three forms of the game for Australia. I feel the time is now right for me to concentrate on Test and ODI Cricket ." Haddin shows his interest to play in the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash League for Sydney Sixers   and also with the Kolkata Night Riders in the IPL.

Muttiah Muralitharan wants to play two more years in IPL

Canceling contract of Kochi Tuskers Kerala by BCCI despite hopes expressed by the Sri Lankan spinner Muthiah Muralitharan is hopeful of being picked by any franchise that make them a chance to play in IPL. Violation of the terms of the contract by the Kochi Tuskers Kerala , after that BCCI cancelled the contract for Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Muttiah Muralitharan said " I am hopeful that if they (Kochi) are not playing, some other franchise will take me as I am fit and playing this format continuously. I want to play two more years in IPL. " Experience with Kochi, Muttiah Muralitharan said, my experience with Chennai Super Kings was best, I just had played five matches out of 16 for kochi" He took only two wickets in his last season.

Sachin's Letter to ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat

Sachin Tendulkar has written a letter to the ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat for a change in format of ODI Cricekt. Tendulkar wants that ICC change the 50-50-overs match split into 25-25 overs in four innings. According to " The Times " sachin wrote in letter " I have been capturing my thoughts on what I think would be the way forward to ensure that all three formats in the game co-exist and ensure value creation. " Tendulkar also proposed that powerplays to be made mandatory, and each 25-over block include only two powerplays. He also suggested that 4 bowlers should be allowed 12 overs each.

Rahul dravid's retirement with a half Century

Graeme Swann is the New England T20 captain

Graeme Swann will captain England T20 Team in the two matches against West Indies Twenty20 series this month in the absence of Eoin Morgan and Stuart Broad. Broad, the Twenty20 Captain regulate who began his reign earlier this season against Sri Lanka, was ruled by the rest of the main season in England, as well as the ODI series in five games in the India next month. Gambhir out of the Champions League qualifier

Captain of the Kolkata night riders Gautam Gambhir will not play Champions League T20 qualifying matches on 18 and 21 September due to his injury in England tour. The Director of night riders Joy Bhattacharya said South African allrounder Jacques Kallis will replace Gambhir captaincy.
