Graeme Swann is the New England T20 captain


Graeme Swann will captain England T20 Team in the two matches against West Indies Twenty20 series this month in the absence of Eoin Morgan and Stuart Broad.

Broad, the Twenty20 Captain regulate who began his reign earlier this season against Sri Lanka, was ruled by the rest of the main season in England, as well as the ODI series in five games in the India next month.


Jonathan Bairstow and Danny Briggs two uncapped players have been included in the squad of 14 men. James Anderson has been recall in T20 Squad since November 2009.

Squad: Graeme Swann (capt), Jonathan Bairstow, James Anderson, Scott Borthwick, Ravi Bopara, Tim Bresnan, Jos Buttler, Danny Briggs, Jade Dernbach, Alex Hales, Steven Finn, Craig Kieswetter (wk), Ben Stokes, Samit Patel.

  1. Congratulation Graeme Swann for his first taste as international captaincy of the English Team and i think he will be doing well with his bowling as a captain. Graeme Swann has good opportunity to show his leadership skill at highest level.
