Sydney, Thursday, 22 September 2011.
Australian wicketkeeper Brad Haddin, has taken retirement from the international Twenty20 cricket format to concentrate in ODI and test cricket only. Haddin has played 25 T-20 matches for Australia and he played his last T20 match against Sri Lanka. He said that there are many reasons behind this decision.
Haddin said "I thoroughly enjoy Twenty20 cricket and have taken great pride from playing all three forms of the game for Australia. I feel the time is now right for me to concentrate on Test and ODI Cricket."
Haddin shows his interest to play in the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash League for Sydney Sixers and also with the Kolkata Night Riders in the IPL.
