Gambhir out of the Champions League qualifier

Captain of the Kolkata night riders Gautam Gambhir will not play Champions League T20 qualifying matches on 18 and 21 September due to his injury in England tour.

The Director of night riders Joy Bhattacharya said South African allrounder Jacques Kallis will replace Gambhir captaincy.

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia. Bracken took his retirement in January and could not play the entire 2010 season last year due to injury. According to the report of Daily Telegraph Bracken is seeking about $1 million from CA.
