Marsh became the new coach of Sri Lanka


Former Australia batsman Geoff Marsh has been announced the Sri Lanka coach for a two year contract, he will replace Trevor Bayliss.


Bayliss had resigned with the team After the World Cup in April. Earlier Marsh was the coach for Zimbabwe between 2000-04. He is also currently the coach of Indian Premier League franchise Pune Warriors.

Marsh played 50 test and 119 ODI for Australia, He was the 1987 World Cup winning team member.

Sri Lanka ODI, T20 squad for Australia

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
