India's veteran right-arm spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin completed his 400 wickets on Day 2 of the third Test against England at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Sri Lanka have announced a 20-member squad for the three one-day internationals and the three T20 matches against the West Indies. The 24-year-old seamer Lahiru Kumara, who tested positive on Monday was being replaced by Suranga Lakmal for six limited over matches. The Twenty20s series is slated to begin on March 3, 5 and 7. While the ODIs will be played on March 10, 12 and 14. Australia’s upcoming Test tour of South Africa has been postponed due to the new strain of the coronavirus virus in the host country. Australia was supposed to depart for South Africa in late February for the three-match Test series against the Proteas, which was due to start on March 3, but Cricket Australia (CA) postpone the tour keeping public health in mind. CA's interim CEO, Nick Hockley said: "Due to the public health situation in South Africa, which includes a second wave and new variant of the virus, and following extensive due diligence with medical experts, it has become clear that travelling from Australia to South Africa at this current time poses an unacceptable level of health and safety risk to our players, support staff and the community. "We acknowledge the significant amount of work by CSA in planning for the tour, during which we made it clear that CA was prepared to take on additional cost and effort to make the series happen. Pakistan registered a record win over South Africa in the first Test at Karachi's National Stadium.  Left-arm spinner Nauman Ali bagged a five-wicket haul in an innings on Test debut. IPL 2021 Auction is already upon us as the cricket world prepares for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. Former skipper Mashrafe Mortaza, who made his ODI debut back in 2001, has been dropped from the ODI squad.
