Vinay and Jadeja joins the millionaire club in IPL 5


India's medium fast bowler R Vinay Kumar and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been entered to the millionaire club when Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super kings bagged them for $1 million (4.9 crore) and $2 million (Rs 9.8 crore) respectively.

Ness Wadia, Owner of Kings XI Punjab picked former Pakistan all-rounder Azhar Mahmood for $200,000 (Rs 98 lakh).

Sri Lanka skipper Mahela Jayawardene for $1.4 million
Muthiah Muralitharan in Royal Challengers Bangalore for (Rs 1.1cr)
Brendon McCullum in Kolkata Knight Riders for $900,000 (Rs 4.4cr)
Mitchell Johnson in Mumbai Indians for $300,000 (Rs 1.5cr)
Brad Hogg in Rajasthan Royals for $180,000 (Rs 88 lakh)
Parthiv Patel in Deccan Chargers for ($650,000 or Rs 3.2cr)
RP Singh in Mumbai Indians for $600,000 (Rs 2.9cr)
Romesh Powar in Kings XI Punjab for $160,000 or Rs 78 lakh
S Sreesanth in Rajasthan Royals for $400,000 or Rs 2cr

So far Laxman and VRV Singh was the only big name to remain unsold.

Nathan Bracken sues Cricket Australia

Melbourne, Thursday, October 13, 2011 Former Australian fast bowler Nathan bracken has taken Cricket Australia (CA) to the court, claiming that when he was struggling with his chronic knee injury then he did not receive any compensation for lost wages, damages and medical expenses from Cricket Australia.
