Gautam Gambhir fined USD 20,000


Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Gautam Gambhir has been fined in IPL Tournament for slow over rate during the match against Delhi Daredevils in Delhi.


Gambhir said, "I think aggressive cricket is very important. More so, we have such aggressive batsmen. It is  the responsibility of batsmen like me, Brendon McCullum  or Yusuf  Pathan to bat aggressively and do the scoring.  It is our natural style.”

Sri Lanka ODI, T20 squad for Australia

Sri Lanka have announced a 16-man squad for the one-day and Twenty20 matches against Australia. The one-day series will be held from from January 11-23 across Australia, and the two T20 internationals will be played in Sydney on January 26 and Melbourne on January 28.
